As I'm sure anyone checking the forum is aware, NoCraft shut down a couple days ago. I have redirected the IP to our pixelmon server for now.
Each server required $40 a month to keep up. In the last month NoCraft didn't bring in a single dollar of donation, while NCMon brought in $41. While I wanted NoCraft to be my priority, it had very few players left versus NCMon's average of over 20 players on at a time.
The playerbase on NoCraft was diminishing very quickly, and in our opinions it was because of how boring it had gotten. There was nothing new, and we were basically all just waiting for 1.7.
Im hoping to be able to open up the NoCraft we loved again, but not the same NoCraft we all knew. Change is necessary to keep interest, so we're not entirely sure if we want to keep the same map/plugin combo.
Everything from NoCraft V2 is saved away on my hard drive. I might just put the map up for download for free or for donators(The file size is 4gb, yeesh) if we do decide to start anew (which is a serious consideration).
To start NoCraft Survival up again I will need to surpass *atleast* the cost of $60 *a month* for a RAM upgraded server. I can not stress the "atleast" and "a month" part enough. Due to the monthly renewal process I would have to have $60 each and every month to keep up NoCraft. I would love to, and donations willing I will. But as soon as one of the servers stops being able to pay for itself, and the other cant make enough to cover it, I have to drop the least popular/donation grabbing one.
As far as decisions go for NoCraft Survival on what it would be if it does come back, the people that help bring it back will have input that I will consider and be invited to the beta phase along with the staff.
If you want to hurry up the process, you can send me donations at MitchSmithsEmail@Gmail.com
If you dont have any money to give, thats fine! I'm not expecting to get any donations from this post, just trying to keep y'all updated on why its down and what it would take for it to come back.
Until then, join us on NCMon
Love you guys
