Making the case that Fire-Benders do not have any actually attack damage besides setting players on fire and one big fireblast.
Here are the moves and how each one rates:
FireBlast- Starter move- Sets players on fire when hit (one small beam of fire in the direction the player is pointing, Hard to aim at moving players), Hold+Shift+3 seconds= A blast of fire for around 2.5 hearts of damage but because of antigreif does not destroy blocks unless underground in claims and even then only works on small amounts of dirt or gravel.
Buff?- 1.Increase the damage of the original move 2. Make the shift hold ability have a larger hit with ability to break stone.
Fireshield- 50,000- A small shield of fire that only hits anything within 1 block of the player (does not stop arrows or stop the player just sets them on fire), Shift= A 360 Degree shield 1 block radius around the player with same effects.
Solution?- REMOVE (Firebending is offensive element and this "defensive" move does very little for the player.
FireJet- 65,000- A burst of fire that propels the player forward 29 blocks following the moment of the players courser, Downside if the firebender uses it to fly up they take a lot of fall damage and if strait up the fire-bender will die from falling back down.
Solution?- Buff other areas to make up for the fall damage or slightly increase the range to compare to other elements movement increase effects.
Illumination- 75,000- Has a torch follow the player around
-Not much that can be changed
HeatControl- 125,000- Puts out mass amounts of fire and lava, also cooks raw food
-Again not much that can be changed.
WallOfFire- 175,000- Sets up around 6 block high by 6 block long wall of fire that sets enemies on fire and stops them from passing though.
-One of the few bending moves that are actually good for pvp and should be firebendings only defensive move.
Blaze- 175,000- sends out a wave of ground fire out 6 blocks but the fire disappears as it moves out, Shift= a 360 degree version of the original (NOTE* this only sets players on fire no actual damage)
-Will be stated but this is a crappy version of the master ability
MASTER- FireBurst- 500,000- Shift+ 3 seconds= sends out a 360 degree (including in the air in every direction) fire that stays until put out.
-Good move but does no damage like all other fire moves, just sets the player on fire.
Unknown to a lot of players- Lightning- ?- does a select amount of hearts with a lightning effect and sound
-Suggestion- Should be master move at around 1,000,000. Also sound should be removed (keep effect) and it should do around 5 hearts of damage with a 20 second cooldown (Note my opinion based on lack of damaging moves since most moves only set players on fire)
Please list any comments or concerns anyone has. I have based this polls off of talks with other players with different elements to try to equal out the fact that firebending is meant to be offensive and has few uses in the building settings.
