Hey guys! I'm Jade. I'm twenty and live in Ontario, Canada. Sup. Been playing MC only since October or November. Ah well. How's it going?! I like to do art things like painting and writing and drawing. I might share some of my work sometime if you'd like. I'm a feminist and I like Pokemon and LoZ. Woohoo. This is my face. >:] If you collect plugs too lemme know; I'd love to see your collection.

Someone else on this server over 18? Now I don't feel AS geeky. I'm still the oldest though. I'm also happily married, so please don't take my interest the wrong way.
I'm old enough that I don't understand the ear-disk trend, but young enough that it's not weird to me either. I remember when guy-liner hadn't been given a name yet, and guys who wore makeup were just emulating rockers. Any extraordinary tattoos and piercings were mostly an expression of teen-aged angst in those days. Out of curiosity, what drove your decision to start collecting?

Wonderful! Yeah, it does seem as if teens are the norm. I'm hardly an adult myself though.
HAHA. No, Nick. I'm going to start zoning in on you. You're mine.
All jokes. Well, I was probably fifteen or sixteen when I started stretching my years. I'd seen it around a few times in the older crowd (at school, shows, etc) and found it appealing...I guess for the same reason as unnatural hair colours. I'm not sure when I 'decided' to begin collecting plugs, but I found myself spending hundreds of dollars on them within a few years. It's just something to look forward to in the mail and a chance to admire someone's work. I have a pair of glass jellyfish suspended in clear glass with a white backing, which look awesome! That someone made that by hand is really neat. I also have a lot of pairs of fluorite. Different stones all look gorgeous. It's sometimes a way to wear something natural like polished stone as an accessory while asserting my appreciation and love of body modification.
Where are you from, Nick?

HAHA! So that makes me old then in my 30s! Nice to meet more people via forums than just in MC names.

Thanks for responding. I guess I get it now. It's just kind of a personal preference. I'm 31 and from Houston, TX. I assume Alean is now the oldest then. I'm still Grandpa damn it. I've wanted a Tattoo since I was 20, but I just couldn't find anything that I'm comfortable living with for the rest of my life. One day maybe I'll find the perfect dragon and the perfect artist to do it.

Good luck! I live in a place where there aren't any decent artists. I'd have to go to another city to find someone I'm comfortable with inking me up.
Also, hello Brian!
